A physical representation of a prayer, wish or intent can be very powerful. We use the ribbons on the candles to set our intentions. You can peel off the ribbon, tie it and solidify your intent. We have a family tree in our yard that we planted after our last child was born. I loosely tie my ribbons on the branches of the tree and let go, watching the wind carry my prayers away.
